About Us
Hi, I'm Joel Benitez, owner of Pacific Property Solutions. My background sits at the intersection of three things: hands-on trades and construction work, property and rental operations, and enterprise software implementation. That mix means I can understand the technical work, coordinate the people doing it, and keep the records organized so nothing falls through the cracks.
I started PPS because I kept seeing the same gap — property owners and managers struggling to find someone reliable who could handle both small repairs and larger coordinated jobs without making things complicated. My answer to that was a single, owner-operated service that shows up, communicates clearly, and finishes the work properly.
Background
Two decades across trades, projects, and property.
Construction and Trades
Hands-on across construction and oil and gas. I learned the job from the ground up — safety, documentation, and working to spec — plus carpentry, electrical, concrete, and general maintenance. That trades foundation is what lets me scope work accurately and spot problems before they become change orders.
Property and Rental Operations
Years coordinating repairs across rental and commercial properties. Scheduling contractors, tracking maintenance, and keeping tenants and owners informed. That daily operational pressure is where Fixvia came from — I wanted a simpler way to manage work orders, photos, and follow-ups without juggling spreadsheets and text threads.
Enterprise Project Management
A decade implementing enterprise systems like Salesforce, ServiceNow, and PeopleSoft taught me how to run large projects: clear scope, realistic timelines, contractor accountability, and board-ready reporting. I bring that discipline to every job, whether it's a single repair or a building-wide maintenance plan.

Why we exist
Most property owners and managers have the same story. You call a contractor. Someone you've never met shows up days later. The quote changes on site. When something goes wrong, nobody wants to own it. That's the version of this trade PPS exists to replace.
We offer a range of services, from deck and fence repairs, TV mounting, tile and caulking, painting and general home maintenance, to the commercial punch-list, turnover, and common-area work property managers and councils rely on. Fully insured and WCB compliant, so the work is covered and the risk doesn't land on you.
One of the best parts of this work is seeing the difference it makes. Whether it's fixing a small issue in a home or knocking out a building-wide list for a strata, the goal is the same: leave the property working better than we found it, with clean records to show for it.
Today, alongside the residential business PPS is known for, we're growing into commercial and strata work, serving homeowners, property managers, strata councils, shopping centres, and retail spaces across Victoria, Langford, Colwood, Saanich, and Sidney. As we grow, we're expanding our team and adding new services to better meet our customers' needs, with the same accountability and reliability, scaled to the property.
